Finance & Costs

Do you offer finance and insurance options?

eurotorque is partnered with an expert in the field who has over 25 years financial services experience. With extensive experience dealing with high net worth clients, you will receive expert advice on tailoring the most appropriate finance and insurance solutions to suit both individual and company needs.

How can I pay?

In order to secure your dream car we require a 15% deposit. The balance is payable when the vehicle is ready to be uplifted for delivery to our export facility. There are no hidden costs and all prices quoted include GST and On Road Costs.

Do I pay GST import fees when my car arrives?

No, as eurotorque are an end-to-end solutions provider, we look after the GST import fees when the vehicle arrives. The purchase price of the vehicle includes the GST component.

How much will I save?

While this depends on the make, model and availability of your dream car, our customers will typically save between 15% to 30% on NZ retail pricing.

How long will it take for my car to ship?

Once an available vehicle has been secured with the required 15% deposit, our UK suppliers will have the vehicle uplifted and delivered to our export facility in the UK as soon as possible. Our shipping partners offer weekly sailings with approximate transit times of 43 days to Auckland and 46 days to Christchurch. Add an additional 10 days for UK handling and NZ compliance and delivery.

A custom order will depend on when a production slot can be confirmed; in most cases, however, please allow for between 8 to 12 weeks for the vehicle to be manufactured and delivered to our export facility in the UK.

Where in NZ do you deliver?

We cover both the North & South Island. We ship vehicles to Auckland and Christchurch. Once the compliance/registration process has been completed, we will arrange to have your vehicle delivered to your address in NZ. Additional delivery costs may apply if outside Auckland or Christchurch metro areas.

Where do I collect my car from?

At eurotorque, we prefer to personally deliver your new vehicle to your door (within the Auckland metro area). This allows us to spend quality time with you to demonstrate the features, pair up your phone to bluetooth and answer any questions you may have regarding operation.

If you are located outside of Auckland, you can collect your new vehicle from the Compliance Centre either in Auckland or Christchurch.

Insurance & Warranty

Will my new vehicle be covered under warranty?

New European vehicles typically have a minimum 2 year International Manufacturers Warranty from the date of first registration in the UK. Local franchised dealers are obligated to honour the manufacturer’s warranty provided the claim is within the warranty period.

Do you offer alternative warranty?

Yes we have alternative warranty options, all of which are handled through our finance and insurance broker.

Do you offer trade-in?

Our many years in the automotive industry has allowed us to build strong relationships with a number of leading wholesalers. We work directly with our wholesale network to ensure we are always achieving the best possible price for your trade-in.

About the Cars

Can you convert the Sat Nav to NZ maps?

When your new vehicle goes through NZ compliance, a factory software update is completed. This upgrades the navigation to NZ maps and updates the digital metrics unit setting from miles to kms. Should your vehicle be optioned with Head-up Display and Traffic Sign Recognition, this is also converted.

Can you convert the speedometer to km?

During the factory software update at compliance, the digital metrics unit setting updates the vehicle speedometer from miles to kms.

What about servicing my new car?

Your local franchised dealer can still assist in maintaining and servicing your new vehicle. We recommend servicing your vehicle at your local dealer as you then have peace of mind that genuine parts will be fitted and professionally trained technicians are carrying out work on your car with the latest tools and technology.
